This photograph records the concurrent visit to Station Pier of three cruise ships - the peak of the Cruising Victoria strategy aimed at encouraging cruise shipping to Melbourne. Also the Devil Cat was berthed at Station Pier on this day but not in the photo (4 ships in one day)
