Historical information

The donor worked at the GAF for 30+ years, where he was a draftsman. When the factory closed he was given numerous artefacts including photos, many of which were scanned into the CD that he donated to the society.

Physical description

CD containing 24 directories of photos from the Government Aircraft Factory in Lorimer Street. Topics covered include aircraft, manufacturing process, the factory and special events; period covers 1940s to 1960s. CD also has an incomplete photo directory in Excel.
