1924 photo of Albert Victor RENOWDEN in his first year as the Chairman of Trustees of The Necropolis, Springvale. Renowden was Mayor of the Town of Port Melbourne in 1907/08 and Councillor from 1904 to 1912. Refer Port People for further details. Also President of the Port Melbourne Football Club1908.
Lagoon Confectioners commenced manufacturing in 1921 at 118 Albert Road, South Melbourne. These included Boiled Sweets, Chocolate Novelties Counted Lines and1/2d Novelties. In 1970 they moved to premises in Graham Street, Port Melbourne.
