Physical description

Portable watch clock with a Detex Newman name badge on black leather casing (front). Used at John Kitchen and Sons in the 1960s (and on?) . Used for security purposes as it records the time when the security officer "clocked on" at each of the numerous points around the premises (i.e. it provided evidence that he had, at least, fully patrolled all areas). Also may be known as the watchman's clock.
