On the pending sale of Holy Trinity church, this baptismal font was removed from the church for safe keeping by the Society and placed in storage at McClusy's garage. When McClusky moved out in 1997, the font was again removed and placed in sections in the Spring Street foyer of the Port Melbourne Town Hall. In February 1998 it was assembled by members of the Society.
