Historical information

H M S TRUMP was ordered on the 20th December 1941, laid down 31st December 1942 , launched 25th March 1944 and commissioned 8th July 1944.

She was built by the Vickers Armstrong Company at Barrow in Furness (England). She saw action in various conflicts with her service in Australia.

H M S TRUMP was finally scrapped at Newport - Wales in August 1971.

Inscriptions & markings

Inside circle of trumpet enclosed by Laurel leaves surrounded by gold coloured rope.

Name TRUMP on top with Crown above. Crown depicts sailing ships.
