An updated version re-printed for Legacy’s 75th Anniversary. Provides an account of the founding of Melbourne Legacy. The extract taken from chapter three with a lead in from chapter two of There Goes a Man, a biography of the founder of Melbourne Legacy, Sir Stanley Savige.

Significance

Significant in that the booklet reminds the reader of the difficulties of establishing a charity and taking the idea from a thought, to funding and recruiting like minded people to develop the idea.
