Historical information

From 1979, the John Wilson Award was awarded to individuals who made a significant difference to the lives of those around them. In 2000 it was presented to Neil and Elizabeth Maxwell who have contributed over 40 years of service to blind sports (cricket, bowls, swish), governance (with various auxiliary and council positions), fundraising and public awareness.
