The photograph, Real Photo Series M 324, shows Geelong No. 2, built by Duncan and Fraser of Adelaide in 1911 in its as-built configuration in Ryrie St with the former Geelong Post Office in the view. Next door to the Post Office is the Telegraph Station.

Dated on the basis of a poster next to the Telegraph station advertising a 1920 film by Irene Castle. The full name of the film cannot be read, but starts with "The..."

This tram is part of the collection at the Ballarat Tramway Museum.

Significance

Yields information about Geelong No.2 and Ryrie St in particular the Geelong Post Office.
