Money raised was to be used for the repatriation and resettlement of former servicemen. Targets were set for money to be raised in each of the Australian states. This notice encouraged Victorians to help WWI returned servicemen through the purchase of peace bonds. It details the amount of interest a purchaser of a bond in the Second Peace Loan would receive after ten years. This notice was displayed in various public buildings, and the wording of the notice was also used in newspaper advertisements, for example this advertisement appeared in The Argus on 6 September 1920.
