Accessory - Irish crochet pelerine, 1890-1910

Historical information

One of a group of items including lace and crochet collars, a jabot, a chid's dress and a wedding dress donated by KHS member, Kathryn (Kate) Gwynne Reeve (nee Marx) that belonged to members of her family. A pelerine is a woman's long narrow cape or tippet, with ends coming down to a point in front, usually of silk or lace, or of the material of the dress.
