CAC AA-107 Jet Trainer
What it was: A proposed joint project between the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) of Australia and British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) to create a jet trainer to prepare pilots for the Mirage III fighter.
Key features: The design included a swing-wing, a feature to accommodate the needs of air forces introducing swing-wing aircraft in the 1970s.
Status: The project was scrapped in 1970 and no aircraft were ever produced. A mockup was created and can be found at the Ballarat Aviation Museum. -Ex AI
