A short history celebrating the 50th year of the Heidelberg Golf Club. Produced by HGC members Dick Banks and Greg Anderson, and known as the 'gold book', this was published in 1978 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of HGC in 1928. It contains interesting stories about the formation and development of the Club.

The Northern Golf Club is situated in Glenroy, Victoria. It was first established in 1896 as the Essendon Golf Club, just south of Buckley Street. The Club relocated in 1912 and is now located in Glenroy Road, Glenroy.
