Photo shows cable tram saloon trailer No. 290, soon after arrival at Alf Twentyman's house in Basting St Northcote. It was purchased for preservation. It is now located at the TMSV's Bylands Museum.

Significance

Yields information about the preservation of a cable tram saloon trailer, probably the first privately preserved tram in Australia.
