The first image shows the shops on either side of Bridge Road with horse drawn carts and one cable tram. The second image from the Town Hall tower, shows two cable tram sets, the narrowing of the road. Has in the view Guddon & Selleck Auction House and Property Exchange also advertising Commercial Union Assurance Co. and George Stirling and Sons store.
