Seven girls from the Geelong Legacy Junior Club in the early 1930s. The motto at the bottom says 'The torch you threw to us we caught'.
Margaret Burn is the girl on the far right and her family donated the photo. Margaret attended girls classes with Geelong Legacy in the 1930s and Legacy helped her find employment when she left school. Her family donated two photos and a Laurel Badge to Legacy.

Significance

A very early photo showing Geelong Legacy were looking after the children of deceased soldiers.
