Obituary of Gerard Crock, an ophthalmologist who pioneered micro-surgery in his field, was the first professor appointed medical specialty chair in Australia, establish the ophthalmology department at Melbourne University and helped develop the Ear and Eye Hospital and the Low Vision Resource Centre at Kooyong.
