Manufactured by the Adelaide tramcar body builder, Duncan and Fraser to indicate or advise passengers who built the tram. Were generally located above a doorway of the tramcars.

Physical description
Oval shaped engraved steel plate with the words "DUNCAN & FRASER BUILDERS ADELAIDE" in black on a nickel plated steel plate. Has two 5mm diameter holes on either side of the word "Builder". Has two brass round head slotted screws in the packet.
