This gong was used by staff to call guests to meals at Kalimna Guesthouse.

Physical description

A gong used at Kalimna Guest House to notify guests that a meal was ready . The four metal striking plates sit on a wooden base with four round metal cylinders inserted. Thin nylon rope separates the metal plates from the wood. There are two fittings to allow the gong to be held on the wall.
