Wilbraham LIARDET & his family arrived on what was to be known as Sandridge Beach in November 1839. The Lee-Ar-Day Days festival was a weekend program of events celebrating this centenary with activities such as a 'Horse & Carriage Journey with a view of Sandrige and site of the famous Liardet Pier Hotel'.
