Wilbraham LIARDET & his family arrived on what was to be known as Sandridge Beach in November 1839. The Lee-Ar-Day Days festival was a weekend program of events celebrating this centenary with activities such as a 'Carriage Tour' featured on this ticket.

'Port Parlour Shots' was an initiative of the Bay Street Traders Association. The project's intention was to curate home movies that had been shot in Port Melbourne before 1999. A screening of these films took place at Gasworks Park theatre.

The Victa company was founded by Mervyn Victor RICHARDSON in Australia in 1952 initially to manufacture lawnmowers. This badge was on the back gate of a former shop in Princes Street, Port Melbourne. The owner, Victor, salvaged the badge, painted it green to match his house and used it as the 'nameplate' for his residence.
