John William COOPER landed at Liardet's Beach in late 1852. A builder by trade, he settled in Sandridge and was active in creating Sandridge as an independent municipality. His was Elizabeth HARRIS.

Rosa Harden HARRIS' sister, Charlotte Elizabeth HARRIS, married John LOWE at the Trinity Church in Sandridge in 1861. The 23 year old bachelor was born in Bristol and is listed as a Sugar Refiner living in Sandridge. His bride was 21 and had been born in England.

Rosa Harden HARRIS married George Quick at St Peters, Melbourne on the 29th December 1858. George was born in New York and his father, Joseph, was a Cordwainer. Rosa had been born in London and her parents were Jane RINTOUL and John Mark HARRIS, a silversmith. One of the witnesses was Rosa's sister, Charlotte Elizabeth HARRIS, who was to marry John LOWE. Rosa went on to own a two story brick shop and dwelling on the corner of Dow & Graham Streets, Port Melbourne.

Mrs Rosa Harden QUICK (nee HARRIS) owned a two story brick shop and dwelling on the corner of Dow & Graham Streets, Port Melbourne. The Fire insurance policy is addressed to her Executors & was issued by her brother in law, John LOWE to cover the period of one year.

TAAFE family - including Garrett Gerald TAAFE, Gerald TAFE (Son), Ellen VALE (TAAFE), Mary Genevieve VALE, Martha GILMORE, Bridget BENNETT (TAAFE), Aileen CAMPBELL (TAAFE). Gerald TAAFE trained trotters and died in 1935 aged 53. His wife, Martha died in 1974 aged 92 and was still living at 34 Williamstown Road, Port Melbourne.
