Significance
Demonstrates the MMTB W7 class and work of the BTM in restoring it to a serviceable condition as an accessible tram.
Physical description
A four motor bogie drop centre combination tram of the Melbourne W7 class No. 1029, built at Preston Workshops during 1956, entered service on 1/2/1956. Fitted with sliding doors, Remote Control equipment.
