Physical description

Black & white photograph of M&MTB 'E' 41 on Balloon loop at St. Kilda 4-1-1943. Tram has painted white strip under drivers windows, above headlight and bumper bars (part) and on edge of footboards. Has Kew-Cotham Road destination. Route 69. See inscription markings for further details.



Note: the tram class was originally and E, but maximum traction cars were later classified by the MMTB as "C"; see Destination city p14. Tram was later to become SECV Ballarat No. 38.
