Newspaper cutting from a Melbourne newspaper dated 22 June 1970 about Melbourne's 1100 trams having extra lights fitted to them next week. Four lights to be fitted to the front and two reds to the back. Was welcomed by Victoria's motor industry chiefs. NOTE: There were not 1100 trams in Melbourne at the time, more about 500 to 600.
