Physical description

White cardboard mount, 35mm slide, from the Association of Railway Enthusiast's film strip titled "Provincial Tramway Film Strip" of No. 17 entering Gardens loop, with the Destination of Mt Pleasant. Has the Gardens Kiosk, Lake Lodge in the background.



The film strip notes (Reg. Item 2560), provided the following caption details:



"The "GARDENS" line actually encircled Lake Wendouree but was served

by separate services from each side! via "DRUMMOND St. Nth." and via

"STURT St. WEST". No. 17 is seen near the terminus in the area where

the BALLARAT TRAMWAY PRESERVATION SOCIETY hope to commence museum

operations in the near future. - Sept. '71 (Graham Evans)"
