Physical description

Printed black and white postcard of the Ballarat Town Hall, with horse cabs in the median strip - prior to the development of the median strip. Has the large gas lamp in the centre of the intersection with Armstrong St. Card has been unused. No horse tram lines visible, but could be there. Photo assumed to be c1900, but could be pre 1887.



On rear is places for correspondences stamp, address. On left hand edge is "H. J. Summerscales, next Post Office, Ballarat."
