Significance

Demonstrates aspects of the way the SEC reinforced a particular rule - rule 10A - intoxication - to employees by printing a special supplementary sheet and expanding on the rule itself.

Physical description

Single sheet of duplicated paper, titled "Special Order 66/1" in addition to the Rules Governing Employees, dated 9/1964 (See Reg, Item 3117). Given as Rule 10A, gave instructions regarding intoxicating liquor; alcohol, drinking on the job, entering hotels etc. Prepared by LGD (Les Denmead) and signed by F. K. White as Manager.



Copy 1 - held in storage location as shown.

Copy 2 - taped within item 3117.

Copy 3 - from Ray Hall of Ararat -added 28-07-2006.

Copy 4 - folded loose in rear of copy 3 of Reg Item 3117 - as it would be given to a new crew member.
