Black and White photograph of conduit (electric) trams in Blackpool England. The system was offered to the City of Ballarat when the tramway operations were being tendered.

"16a" and "In 1885 Holroyd Smith of the United Kingdom sent a tender to Ballarat to construct a conduit tramway in that city, similar to the one he had constructed in Blackpool United Kingdom in the same year.
