Significance

Has a strong association with Wal Jack and tramway developments within Australasia until 1964 and given their extent are of particular significance. Features Brisbane and Rockhampton trams.

Physical description

Light grey covered folder, loose leaf covers held with grey cord, light grey paper inside covers holding some 28 sheets of card on which photos have been mounted using photo corners of various types, captions in blue or black ink. Has some 172 black and white photographs including some photographs. Inside front cover is a type copy of a paper by GR Steer, General Manager Brisbane Tramways, "Brisbane Tramways, Their History and Development". Has Keith Kings name on cover sheet, and date Jan. 1951. Paper for meeting of the Historical Society of Queensland, 26 Aug. 1943.
