Note about items found by Wal's correspondent in the Kalgoorlie Miner about Ballarat. Could be early 50's or late 40's as the person suggests an article in ET - electric Traction.
Items noted were:
23/2/1906 - possibilities of a strike - gives wages at the time, 48 hour week, and wages sought.
28/2/1908 - re youthful conductors on strike, but not the drivers, union being formed.
10/8/1909 - fire in the Sebastopol horse tram shed, horses and tramcars destroyed.
