Down Under Christmas is a time of hot weather - but we still send cards
with pictures of snow and a fat man is a red, fur lined suit.
Back in 1967 in Ballarat, Santa had a choice of two trams - one
supported by the Myer department store and another by the Bridge St traders.
I caught them together at a loop on the lakeside track, but Santa was
not to be seen.
