Historical information

Photograph of No. 37 using the Dawson St cross over from the north side to the south side, with a large load of passengers. Destination appears to be Gardens via Sturt St West.
In the background is the Golden City Hotel. Possibly using the crossover due to either a delay or an event at the Town Hall requiring trams to operate or run on the "wrong line" in Sturt St.
Possibly the early 1950's.

Yields information about the use of the Dawson St crossover with a loaded passenger tramcars and from the north side to the south side.
