Negative and Digital images by Wal Jack of ex-Geelong No. 40 on jacks within the Ballarat depot on 29/3/1956. The tram became Ballarat No. 43. See Reg items 5345, 5346, and 7786 for further details. The original scan of the negative was brightened and shows the number 40 on the front panel.
