The tram has the destination of Station. Note the sign on the left-hand side, "Major STOP Road," which was a four-way stop. Early !950's. prior to the 1/12/1952 route reorganisation, when Newtown Trams went to Eastern Park. Tram has had its bumper bar lowered, fitted with a windscreen wiper, tail lights are yet to be fitted, and the gates removed.
