Yields information about the method of advising a rural association that tramcars were not yet available for sale.
Copy of a letter sent by the Melbourne office (K L Murray, Engineer and Manager SEC) to the NZ Loan and Mercantile Agency Co of St Arnaud, who had enquired about purchasing tramcars from either Ballarat or Bendigo. Not at this time, but watch the press. Dated 14/2/1962
The photograph shows Geelong 7 as built, understood to be a test tram prior to the opening of the system. Photo taken in the then Corio Terrace, now Brougham Street Geelong 1912. Has a number of men on board the tram - depot workers for the photograph? See Item 4314 for another photo looking the other way and item 8612 for a framed version.

Photograph shows the MESCo Geelong bus that ran to East Geelong (see item 9004). Registration number 6765 outside the Melbourne Electric Supply Co. power station in Corio Terrace Geelong. The bus has been fitted with body bracing indicating a loose body when the photo was taken along with other body panel damage. This bracing is not apparent in the item 9004, possibly indicating shortly before it was withdrawn in 1923. There is a Pay as you enter sign alongside the driver.

Victorian Government Gazette No. 32 of 20/3/1929 on pages 1081 to 1085 detailing the By-Laws and Regulations No. 58 pursuant to the Sections 9 and 46 of the Motor Omnibus Act (Urban and Country) No. 3570, of 1927 detailing the operational requirements for buses in Bendigo. Provides definitions, fares, timetables, and passengers. The regulations detail the routes, timetables, and advertising matter. A similar set of regulations are provided for the Mildura bus service.

Duncan and Fraser tramcar No 3 at the depot bedecked with large Australian flags and small Red Cross flags and seeking donations to the Red Cross. It is most likely the date is during WW1, probably 1916-1918.
