Report on whether the tramway system in Ballarat should continued to operate. Examines passenger numbers, routes, bus routes, finances and whether the system should be replaced by Trolley buses.

Significance

Yields information about the Ballarat Tramway system in 1949, the possible use of Trolley Buses and has a strong association with H H Bell Jnr, the son of the MMTB Chairman H Bell at the time.
