The Hawthorn Tramways Trust was established in 1914, and merged with the Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board in 1920. The Hawthorn line operated via Bridge Road, Richmond. Horse drawn trams were withdrawn in 1916 prior to the introduction of cable trams. The booklet provides technical details about this line, as well as photographs.
