Historical information

Model of a Melbourne W2 class tram, No. 522 partly assembled with some parts in a plastic bag. Fitted with one bogie or truck, but not the wheels. Does not have a route number box Painted in Melbourne colours of green and cream showing the destination of Depot. Model built by Weico. Has drop centre seats, the two saloons are left empty for motors to be fitted.

Significance

Demonstrates a model that represented a successful Melbourne bogie tram.
