News sheet dated Sept. 1944 of the SEC Ballarat Presentation Club reporting on the results of the Most Popular conductress competition and those involved. Notes the work of Tillie Thompson, (Treasure Tram), Bob Haines as Winston Churchill, Motormen Young and Strickland as Laurel and Hardy. The Headquarters band of the RAAF provided the music for the Gala Day. Included is a report on the Melbourne Ball.
