A letter dated 2nd June 1925, addressed to Messrs. Allsop & Co, acknowledging receipt of cheque in payment of call on shares registered in the name of M. Kelly. The letter is signed by the manager of Thomo Gold No Liability. A receipt is attached to the letter. Two more receipts are included one dated 28th April 1925, the other 5th May 1925
A notice given that a call of 3 pounds per share has been made by the board of Thomo Gold is also included.
Pioneer, Anne Currie and her husband John helped open up the area we now know as Lardner or the Drouin area. Anne Currie kept a diary more like a day book of her family's activities throughout their lives. The Diaries were commenced by John on 8th March 1813, but on 28 September of that year there is an entry 'John Currre has tired of keeping a Diary and has handed it over to me - C. Items found by Barry Maggs in the Whipstick National Park with a metal detector. Due to a shortage of coinage many merchants had there trading tokens which latter made illegal. Foreign currency was also used.

A clear plastic display box containing 25 coins and merchant's tokens. They range in size from 1.5cm. to 3,5 cm. the dates range from mid nineteenth century to mid twenty century. Denominations of coins include farthings, halfpennies, pennies, two cents, ten cents and some foreign coins. Some of the merchant tokens have a square hole in the middle.
