Pro-forma document from Department of Labour and National Service advising NE Swainston that he has been found fit for service and can expect to commence with the army on 21st April 1971. Details have been typed in and document has been stamped in purple with the address and date- 10 Mar 1971, and signed by PH Cook - Secretary. Document informs recipient of what action he should take, including conditions by which an application for deferment may be made. Details of this are on the back of the document.
