Historical information

This was donated by Mrs Elma Desnoy who was the mother of Pte John Walter Desnoy (3791033) who did National Service with the Royal Australian Infantry Corps. He served in Vietnam with the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment from December 1967 to May 1968 Pte Desnow was killed in action whilst on duty on the 26th May 1968.

Physical description

Contains copies of two typed letters written to Roger ? (surname unknown) Mary Nagle dated 3/6/68 and one dated 13/6/68 signed God Bless and the signature is unreadable. There is also a copy of a hand written letter dated 1 July to Roger by Elma Desnoy. Elma was the mother of John Desnoy who was killed in Vietnam and Mary is her next door neighbour.
