the diorama depicts the scene in the aftermath of the mine explosion which destroyed carrier 20A of 3 Cavalry Regiment in February 1970. its driver, John Graham, is shown on a stretcher on the track, although by this time he had already been safely evacuated. The diorama indicates the dangers our soldiers faced in the daily operations against a determined foe.
L/Cpl John Arthur Graham (312838) was with the Royal Australian Armoured Corps and served in Vietnam with B Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment from August 1969 to March 1970.
