Helmet worn by the Quan Cahn, South Vietnamese military police, during the war in Vietnam. This item was collected because it contributes to an understanding of those involved in the war in Vietnam (1962–1972) other than Australian servicemen.

Physical description

Black helmet with chin strap. Painted at centre front in large white letters is QC (Quan Canh). Three stripes of equal width (red, white, red) circle the helmet from either side of the letters. es. . Inside there are the numbers, 29959 and the name Whitefield on the inside strap.

On front: QC, Inside are the numbers, 29959 and the name Whitefield on underside of chinstrap.
