We have all viewed on TV or in newspapers, books and magazines, the wreckage of war...a burned-out tank or APC along a red dusty road, a shop-up helicopter, its blades askew. resting in a rice paddy; spent shell casings; bloody drssings; battle gear; or mangled bodies lying in sore far off outpost after a fierce battle.
