Summary
When the long-awaited Apocalypse Now exploded into public consciousness the movie business had completed a 180 degree turn. For many Francis Ford Coppola's mammoth project, though flawed, was the most savage indictment of the Vietnam War yet - a vision of harrowing and mindless carnage in which there were only victims. <br/>
