Mick Berrigan was critically wounded in Vietnam in 1967. He returned to Australia and a system which was totally unprepared to rehabilitate him of provide any support for his extensive brain injury. This is the story of his courage and persistence in his fight to be his own person. It is about his parents and affect their constant search for help on Mick's behalf had on their lives. It is also about me, his sister, and how I became his 'significant other'.
