Significance
Developing urban area now located within the City of Glen Eira, formally City of Moorabbin. This image illustrates the mid century urban sprawl of new suburbs and the subdivision of market gardens within the municipality and the changing demographic of the district as new houses are constructed and infrastructure established.

Sealed road in the distance. Thomasina Street, as it crosses Gladwyn Street, East Bentleigh towards East Boundary Road.
