Construction of Adventure Playground Nott Street Primary School. in the background can be seen the former Port Melbourne Picture Theatre at 284 Bay Street. Sign shows that in 1977 it was Dudley Pty Ltd. The building was gutted by fire in 2015.

The Victa company was founded by Mervyn Victor RICHARDSON in Australia in 1952 initially to manufacture lawnmowers. This badge was on the back gate of a former shop in Princes Street, Port Melbourne. The owner, Victor, salvaged the badge, painted it green to match his house and used it as the 'nameplate' for his residence.
